A new worm can hijack Microsoft Copilot through Word docs

A security researcher recently showed how a malicious program can hide inside Word documents. When you use the file with Copilot, the hidden commands activate automatically.
The worm spreads by infecting new documents every time they are created or edited. This means the threat can move from one file to another without the user noticing anything wrong.
Microsoft has known about this flaw for months but has not fully fixed it yet. Be careful about which documents you share and who you let access your files.
