AI shopping agents are not ready to handle your wallet

Researchers at the Wharton School tested AI shopping agents and found they are very inconsistent. These tools often change their recommendations based on tiny details that should not matter.
For example, if the AI sees a different product review from a single website, it might completely swap its suggestion. Even changing the order of the information given to the AI leads to a different final choice.
Because these agents are so unstable, you should not let them pick products for you yet. It is much safer to do your own research until these systems become more reliable.
