Alibaba Launches Powerful New Qwen3.8-Max Model
The new Qwen3.8-Max is the largest model in the Qwen family to date. It uses 2.4 trillion parameters to handle text, images, and video. It can also process up to one million tokens at once.
Alibaba has moved this model out of its preview stage and made it available to everyone. You can find the official pricing for using the model online now. The company plans to release the open weights early next week.
While the company has not shared a formal chart of test scores yet, this is their most capable model so far. Expect it to handle complex tasks with high accuracy as more people start testing it.
