AMD Releases New Open Source AI Model

AMD released a new AI model called Instella-MoE-16B. It uses a specific design that allows it to run quickly by only using a fraction of its total data at once. This makes it efficient for developers to use.
The company trained this model from scratch using their own Instinct chips. They shared everything you need to recreate it, including the data and the computer code used during training.
This release is completely open to the public. You can download the model weights and experiment with how it works right now. It is a big step for AMD in the world of open AI development.
