Anthropic brings AI to the physical world

Anthropic just introduced a new tool called the Model Hardware Standard. It gives artificial intelligence a simple way to connect with physical machines like robotic arms and lab gear. Setup time drops from weeks down to just hours in early tests.
The system works well for basic tasks, but Claude still struggles to understand physical cause and effect. Sometimes it misses how actions in the real world will play out.
Because of these limits, humans still need to supervise the work closely. This technology is a big step forward, but we are not ready to let robots run completely on their own.
