Anthropic Raises Risk Rating for Future AI
Anthropic just released its latest report on AI safety. They decided to increase their risk rating from very low to low. This change focuses on the possibility of their models causing serious harm in high-stakes situations.
The company also mentioned an internal project called Model 2. It is more powerful than their current public model known as Mythos 5. Despite these capabilities, they have decided not to release it to the public.
They did not provide many details on why they are shelving the new model. For now, the company is keeping this technology internal. We will have to wait to see if they change their plans later.
