ChatGPT can now access your health data

OpenAI just launched a new feature for ChatGPT that connects to your health data. If you are 18 or older, you can link your Apple Health app or medical records to the chatbot. This works on both the web and the iOS app for all user tiers.
Connecting your accounts lets the AI read your stored health info. This is meant to make it easier to talk about your fitness or medical history with the bot. You will need to manually grant permission to pull this data into your chat.
The tool is available now for users in the United States where medical record integration is supported. OpenAI says this is optional and puts the user in control of what information is shared. Check your settings in the app to see if you can link your data today.
