China enters the high speed AI memory race

A company called CXMT is now building advanced memory chips in China. These chips are used to help AI processors work much faster. Producing them is a major step for the country.

Experts have been watching this development closely. HBM3E technology is usually made by a few large companies in South Korea and the United States. This new production shows that China is trying to catch up.

Right now the output is still quite small. It remains to be seen if they can make enough to satisfy the global demand for AI hardware.
