Claude is now free for schools

Anthropic just launched a new program for schools. Teachers and staff can now use Claude through a single, managed account. This makes it easier for districts to oversee how the tool is used in the classroom.
Schools that sign up before June 30, 2027 will get one year of free access to the Enterprise version of the software. This expands on the individual offer the company started earlier this summer.
This update is designed to help educators save time on planning and grading. Leaders can now bring their entire team onto one platform with safety rules tailored for K-12 environments.
