Companies Are Stopping Their Expensive AI Spending

Anthropic recently released a powerful new AI model called Fable 5. Despite its high performance, U.S. companies are barely buying it. Financial data shows this top tier model makes up only six percent of the tokens Anthropic sells.
Businesses are realizing that paying top dollar for extra power does not help their daily work. The steep price tag is simply too high for the small improvements companies actually see.
This slowdown suggests that corporate budgets for artificial intelligence have hit a hard limit. Until new models prove they can save real time and money, companies will stick to cheaper options.
