DiDi Starts Fully Driverless Taxi Trials

You can now book a driverless ride through the DiDi app in specific areas. These new taxis are part of a public trial that started on August 31. The cars operate without a human driver inside.
DiDi worked with GAC Aion to build this vehicle. It was designed from the ground up to serve as a robotaxi. The team plans to use this model for service in many different countries.
The new car includes better self driving technology and a more comfortable interior. This launch is a big step for the company as it expands its autonomous fleet. More cities may see these taxis in the future.
