Google Pulls New Earth AI Tool

Google recently added an AI tool to its web version of Earth. Users could zoom into a spot, type a prompt, and watch the AI create an image. It lasted less than twenty four hours.

The company decided to turn the feature off immediately. They stated that they need to put better safety rules in place before trying again.

It is not clear when the tool will return. For now, the button is gone from the site as the team works on these updates.
