Google's new AI helps robots work together

Google launched a tool called Gemini Robotics ER 2. It acts as a brain for robots that need to follow long or complicated instructions. Instead of just moving parts, it thinks through the steps needed to finish a goal.

This model takes in video, sound, and text to understand what is happening around it. Once it makes a plan, it sends instructions to the robot's hardware to carry out the physical work. It can even coordinate several robots at the same time.

Developers can try this out through Google AI Studio and the Gemini API now. It is a big step forward for machines that need to handle real world jobs without constant human guidance.
