Gravis Robotics raises $200 million for big machinery

Gravis Robotics raised 200 million dollars in its latest funding round led by SoftBank. This is the largest amount ever raised for a company working on construction robots. It shows that investors are betting big on automation outside of warehouses and factory floors.
The company makes software and hardware that lets heavy machinery operate on its own. This technology helps move earth and build infrastructure without needing a human in the driver seat at all times. It is designed to handle the difficult tasks found on large outdoor job sites.
This money will help the team scale their operations and bring their machines to projects around the world. As physical artificial intelligence grows, these robots could make building roads and bridges much faster and safer. We expect to see a lot more of these autonomous vehicles on sites in the coming years.
