LAION Releases Massive Open Video Dataset for AI
LAION just released a huge dataset containing 10 million hours of video footage. It includes 80 million individual clips and 55 million descriptions. This makes it one of the largest public collections ever created for AI development.

Legal experts suggest the project is safe due to a recent court ruling in Hamburg. The law allows gathering copyrighted material for non-commercial research purposes. The team plans to keep the data open for everyone to use.
