Meta Creates New Networking Tech for AI

Training giant AI models requires thousands of chips to talk to each other constantly. If one connection slows down, the entire process waits. This wastes expensive computing power.
Meta built MetaRoCE to fix these bottlenecks. It is a new way to move data across Ethernet networks without the usual lag. It helps keep all processors working at full speed.
This update is designed to make large scale AI training more efficient. By clearing up network traffic, Meta hopes to speed up how quickly new models are created.
