New AI tools help hospitals manage drug program compliance

Hospitals often struggle to keep track of complex drug pricing rules. Bluesight created an AI platform called Prism to connect pharmacy records and simplify this process. It helps teams manage their inventory more efficiently.
The first feature is now available at over 30 hospitals across the country. It monitors how drugs are handled to ensure that staff follow safety and compliance standards. This saves time for pharmacists who previously had to check everything by hand.
More features are currently in development to handle complex purchasing contracts. The companies hope this technology will lower the risk of errors and make hospital pharmacies run smoother.
