People are using ChatGPT to do jobs outside their field

OpenAI looked at 800,000 messages sent by workers using ChatGPT. They found that 43 percent of these requests involve tasks that belong to a different profession. People are essentially using the tool to cover for skills they do not have.
This trend is happening most often at small businesses. Employees at these companies are using AI to finish specialized work that would normally require hiring an expert.
It seems that ChatGPT is changing how we handle our daily workload. Instead of asking a coworker for help, many people are now turning to AI to get those extra tasks done.
