Rust Sets New Rules for AI Contributions

The Rust project recently introduced clear rules for how people use AI when submitting code. This update replaces the previous informal approach with a public document that everyone can follow.

Five different teams signed off on these guidelines. They want to ensure that code quality stays high while keeping human developers in charge of the final results.

This is not a project-wide rule for every single tool. It specifically focuses on how automated assistants interact with the main codebase to keep the development process organized.
