Self-Driving Bus Debuts at Efteling Theme Park

The Turkish manufacturer Karsan launched its self-driving bus at Efteling in the Netherlands this August. This is the first time a fully autonomous bus has operated on public roads in the North Brabant province.
The vehicle is a full-size bus that handles its own driving during the six-kilometer route. It operates safely alongside regular park traffic and other vehicles throughout the day.
This pilot program shows how autonomous technology can work in crowded public areas. Passengers can now ride the bus as part of their regular park experience.
