Spineart Gets FDA Approval for New Robotic Surgery Tool
The FDA just cleared the PERLA TL application for use with the Op.n robotic platform. This update allows surgeons to use robotic tools during spinal procedures. It works for both standard and minimally invasive surgeries.
Before this change, the platform only provided navigation help. Now, the system fully supports robotic assistance throughout the operation. This gives surgeons more options when performing complex back procedures.
Spineart and eCential Robotics announced the news together this week. Both companies believe this technology will improve how doctors place screws during surgery. It is a big step forward for their combined surgical systems.
