Stripe says the AI era is here and it is staying private
Stripe told its investors that the era of the singularity began on January 1. The company says this is a major reason to keep the business private. Other tech leaders like Elon Musk and Sam Altman have made similar claims.
Business is still doing very well despite this shift. Stripe grew its revenue by 41 percent during the first half of this year. They also just spent over 8 billion dollars to buy the company OpenRouter.
Stripe seems happy with its current path. They do not feel the need to join the stock market right now. For now, the company is focused on its own massive growth.
