Uber and Pony.ai Launch 2,000 Robotaxis in Europe
Uber and Pony.ai are growing their partnership to bring over 2,000 robotaxis to Europe. This deal builds on their current work in Zagreb to reach several new cities across the continent.
Passengers will soon be able to book these self-driving rides directly through the Uber app. The expansion marks a major step in making autonomous travel a normal part of city life.
This project will launch in four cities over the coming months. Both companies plan to use this fleet to test how self-driving technology performs in busy urban areas.
