Veeda AI Raises $90 Million for Physical AI
Veeda AI just raised over 90 million dollars in seed funding. This is one of the largest early investments ever for a Canadian company. Top firms like Khosla Ventures and Radical Ventures are backing the project.
The company was started by Sanja Fidler. She is a well known computer vision researcher who left Nvidia earlier this year. She launched the startup alongside two of her former colleagues.
They plan to focus on building world models for physical AI. This technology helps machines understand and interact with their surroundings. The team is already moving fast to turn these ideas into real products.
