Why AI Answers Are Starting to Sound the Same

Researchers at Duke University tested nearly 70 different AI models released over the last few years. They looked at how these systems handle creative tasks and original ideas. The results show that the variety in their responses is shrinking significantly.
Most major AI providers are training their systems on similar data. Because of this, the models are beginning to mirror each other. This means users get the same type of answer regardless of which tool they pick.
This trend might make it harder to find truly fresh or different perspectives. As these tools continue to converge, we lose the unique quirks that once made each AI feel distinct.
