Why the First AI IPO Does Not Matter

Everyone is obsessed with whether OpenAI or Anthropic will go public first. People assume that the first company to reach the stock market will automatically win the industry. This is a common mistake in tech.
Going public is just a way to raise money and provide an exit for early investors. It does not mean a company has the best product or the most profitable future. Building a popular tool is very different from building a sustainable business.
The real winners will be the companies that actually solve problems for their customers. Future market leaders might not be the model builders at all. We should focus on who provides the most value rather than who hits the stock market first.
