Why Your First AI Project Should Stay Behind the Scenes

Many businesses start their AI journey by handing off high profile tasks like customer service or blog writing. They assume these roles are the best place to test new technology because they are easy to see. This is usually a mistake.
When these projects fail to meet high expectations, teams often blame the software. They conclude that the technology is not ready for prime time. In reality, the AI worked fine but was asked to do something too complex for its current limits.
Pick smaller internal tasks that have lower stakes instead. Use AI to organize files or summarize notes first. Once you learn how the tools work on private tasks, you can slowly move to bigger jobs.
