xAI opens Grok-Build code after security leak

The tool was supposed to help developers but it caused big problems. It secretly sent private files like passwords and security keys to cloud servers. Users were understandably upset when they discovered their data was not safe.
Elon Musk responded by promising to wipe all the stolen data from those servers. To show they are serious about fixing the issue, the company put the entire code on GitHub. Anyone can now look at the 844,000 lines of code to see how it works.
This move lets developers check the tool for themselves under an open license. It is a major change after the company faced heavy criticism for the breach. Hopefully, this transparency helps rebuild some trust with their users.
